Overview

Dimensional Homogeneity is inspired by the dynamics of meteorology, looking for emerging architecture in the flow of nature and wind behaviors. This, translating abstract dynamics of physics into in both 3-dimetional and bi-dimensional work. Dimensional Homogeneity glues together past and present experiments which includes kinetic interactive installations,  site specific installations, drawings and prints.   The works is divided in 3 body of work:   "Dimensional Homogeneity” part 1 - Air Pressure   “Dimensional Homogeneity” part 2 - Equator   “Dimensional Homogeneity” part 3 - Wind Charts and Prints   For the step by step process of the work check some of the links below:   GlogauAIR Open Studio - Dimensional Homogeneity: https://www.maiamarinelli.com/2015/07/10/dimensional-homogeneity/   Meteorological maps as a blueprint for installations: https://www.maiamarinelli.com/2015/06/16/windkinetic/   Code by Code: https://www.maiamarinelli.com/2015/04/28/code-by-code-part-1/   Tinkering with the next installation at #GlogauAIR:  https://www.maiamarinelli.com/2015/04/12/tinkering-with-the-next-installation-at-glogauair/   Work in process at #GlogauAIR Open Studio: https://www.maiamarinelli.com/2015/04/04/work-in-process-glogauair   "The laws that govern atmospheric motion satisfy the principle of Dimensional Homogeneity, which means that all terms in the equations expressing these laws must have the same physical dimensions"   Dynamics Meteorology” by James R.Holton & Gregory J.
