Developed in 2006 with Mediated Spaces, The Soundscaper uses performers with GPS-enabled phones to create a sonic composition transforming the grid of Manhattan into the staff paper of a musical composition. The Soundscaper was built by Mediated Spaces, Inc. An award winning, interactive design studio based in New York City. Mediated Spaces is a pioneering mobile software development company focusing on citizen science.
