Overview

As part of the IMPERO series, The Emperor’s Cubs also uses traditional female handicrafts transforming ephemeral object in contemporary conceptual art works

The Emperor’s Cubs are made with the same material and technique as the Emperor’s Cape, depicting a genesis of this organism from childhood to adulthood.

The cubs follow the emperor’s teachings until they attain a sufficient level of experience and advantage to take over and control the empire. Like nature, history follows a cycle of splendor to decay and back again
