Organic Interfaces is presenting an evolution of “Mocean” at the Dumbo Art Festival September 26-28.
For the festival we have developed a new version of “Mocean” . It consists of a large water tank and a forest of antique organ pipes. As people manipulate and play in the water, digital technology translates the ripple patterns into sounds played by the re-purposed organ pipes, establishing a relationship between water and sound.
